Name

I come across hundreds of names in my job. Ha. Sounds professional right. Well, since I am checking ERS forms, I "meet" lots of names of the older generation.

Firstly, I must admit I always snigger when I come across funny names.

For example, "Cha Boh" or "Tone" or "Ah Bah".

I met a couple of "Cha Boh" or "Ah bah". I remembered "Tone" bacause it is so unique. But honestly, would you call your child that in the future? I have to say I will not.

And there were lots and lots of names ending with "tee". Like "Ah Tee" etc.

But Siew Tee also ends with Tee. So I shan't laugh.

Besides, I cannot laugh at my own surname right. So forget it. Ha!

Couple of "Poh Kim"s too.

But then anyway since I always come "in contact" with names, I will wonder what I will name my children in the future. If I will ever have that is.

Before you go into saying that I am bo liao, let me remind you that you probably will have thought of that too. Or maybe you will think of nicer Christian names that you will rather have.

So I think and ponder and I have come up with a name for my future son. (Ha! Sounds funny)

RYAN

Why? You ask.

Well because it is the name of so many handsome guys.

Stupid reason. You say.

Well. I guess it is better than naming children stupid names like "rainbow". Why let your child suffer?

So I think "Ryan" is pretty good. Sounds nice, looks nice. Produces vibrations and inspires absolute confidence. Almost. Ok, I must give copyright rights to Oscar Wilde.

I can think of good looking Ryans.

For example...

-Ryan Gosling-
That so-ever-hot-romantic guy in The Notebook. I am waiting desperate for the VCD to release.

-Ryan Cabrera-
Known famously as Ashlee Simpson's ex. Hot looking nonetheless.

-Ryan Phillippe-
Reese Witherspoon's husband. Acted in Cruel Intentions and Igby Goes Down.

-Ryan Reynolds-
Wesley Snipes's side kick in Blade Trinity. Kicks ass.

-Ryan Seacrest-
Don't you just miss him on weeknights?

-Matt Damon-
Ok. He's not called Ryan. But he was the Ryan in "Saving Private Ryan".

-Owen Wilson-
Played Jack Ryan in "The Big Bounce".

-Freddie Prinze Jr.-
Played Ryan two times! "Summer Catch" (2001) and "Boys and Girls" (2000). I still like him in "Down To You" best.

And a lot more I believe. My primary school classmate, Ryan, is not bad looking too.

Ah. This post is crap.

Actually I haven't come up for a female name yet.

But I will gain inspiration each day I believe. Work is really going well.

But the pay is so unfair! As I have not completed my As, my pay is only $5 per hour. My colleagues are all As and above so they get $5.50 or $6. This is really unfair. A one-dollar different makes up a whole lot of money in a month!

Ok, I shall make my complaint in one short paragraph. Anyway, I met an ex-Nyjcian at work today. She is in SMU now and it is nice to speak to someone from the school. I learned quite alot from her. Not only school stuff, but also some life lessons.

Shall not be long-winded here.

There is also an ex-Xinmin girl. But she graduated alot earlier than me and we only thought about Mr Chia.

I am considering about quitting one week before school opens instead of working till th enf december. I have to choose between money or my homework.

Easy choice with huge consequences.
